VISUAL SPORTS NETWORK NAMED IHSAA PHOTOGRAPHER

The Indiana High School Athletic Association has selected Visual Sports Network of Indianapolis as its official championship photographer for the 2005-06 academic year.

Visual Sports Network will provide quality individual and team photography at all IHSAA championship events in 2005-06.  Fans will be able to purchase photos online at the Visual Sports Network website http://www.vsnindy.com, which also will be accessible through the IHSAA website.

“We’re glad to have an Indiana company with 25 years of experience as our official photographer,” said IHSAA Communications Director Joe Gentry.  “We’re confident that Visual Sports Network will provide fans with many great images from our championship events.”

“We are excited to be the official photographer of the IHSAA,” said Visual Sports Network president Mark Roach.  “Twenty-five years of photographing high school sports in Indiana has prepared us for this opportunity to serve.”

Visual Sports has provided quality team and individual portraits to Indiana colleges, high schools, middle schools, and leagues since 1980.  “We have used Visual Sports for over a decade and we’ve been pleased throughout,” said Butler University Associate Athletic Director Jim McGrath.  “They have done terrific work and we’re looking forward to a long and continued relationship.

VSN has shot the Indianapolis Colts team picture for the past 18 years.  “Our association with Visual Sports began in 1987 and it has been mutually beneficial,” said Colts Vice President of Public Relations Craig Kelley.  “We’re appreciative of their professionalism and efforts and we enjoy dealing with them.”

Visual Sports Network will debut in its new role at the IHSAA Girls Golf Tournament on September 30-October 1 at The Legends of Indiana Golf Course in Franklin.
