Last Year’s Boys State Meet




                 BEN DAVIS RUNS AWAY WITH SCHOOLS
                           FIRST STATE TRACK TITLE

              A crowd of 5,551 saw Ben Davis
           run away with the school’s first-ever
           IHSAA boy’s state title at the Robert
           C. Haugh Track and Field Complex in
           Bloomington. After finishing runner-up
           three times (2000, 2002, and 2007),
           the Giants scored 67 points followed
           by second place finisher Lawrence
           North who tallied 45 points. Warren
           Central finished third with a team total
           of 36 points.  Ben Davis was led by
           head coach Mike Davidson.
              The Giants 400 relay team cruised
           to victory with a time of 41.33.  Junior
           Matthew Terrell claimed his second
           straight title in the 200, while senior
           teammate Rahpeal Williams came in
           third to contribute valuable points for   2007-08 State Champions
