Burris advanced to the championship match by defeat-
ing Fairfield (34-5), a re-match of the 2006 championship
final, with a 3-1 victory. Brownstown Central reached the
final for sixth time and second in the last three years with a
3-0 victory over Woodlan (29-9) who made their first-ever
trip to the state finals.
