Last Year’s Team State Finals



                 CROWN POINT GRABS CROWN IN FIRST APPEARANCE

             In just their first appearance at
           the team wrestling state finals, the
           Crown Point Bulldogs (21-1) defeated
           Perry Meridian, 33-25, to claim the 14th
           Annual IHSAA Team Wrestling State
           Championship at Center Grove High
           School in Greenwood. The champion-
           ship is Crown Point’s fourth overall and
           first since girls basketball won champi-
           onships in 1984 and 1985. Crown Point
           also captured the boys tennis title in
           1971.
             The championship match began
           with the 119-pound class, where Crown
           Point senior Josh Manes scored a 5-3
           victory over Perry Meridian (25-3) junior
