Pike Red Devils Spring to Girls Track & Field
State Title
For the second time in school his-
tory (1997, 2012) the Pike Red Devils
captured the IHSAA Girls Track and
Field team championship Friday night
at Indiana University’s Robert C. Haugh
Track and Field Complex.
Head coach DeDee Nathan’s squad
took home the team title with a score
of 55 points. Fort Wayne Northrop
placed second with 49 points, edging
Lawrence Central who finished third
with 45.5. Pike was led by the state
champion 400 meter relay team of
