But it’s not without reward—especially during the
2013-14 school year. Attendance at state tournament
events in 2013–14 increased 11%, including a 15%
increase in the state football tournament, a 18%
increase in the boys state basketball tournament.
Tournament revenue in 2013–14 was up as well—by 6%.
