One of the most highly anticipated games in the boys basketball
tournament was the Lawrence North vs. Lawrence Central
rematch between the two neighboring arch-rivals in Sectional
11. The #3 LN Wildcats, clad in red and green, defeated the
#2 LC Bears, 68-57, and went on to win one of the toughest
sectionals in the state. The regional, semi-state and state
championship rounds of the boys basketball tournament were
cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
