A Salute to IHSAA

Game Officials

We salute them for their love of the game.

We salute them for their strong sense of personal integrity.

We salute them for their decisiveness and the courage to do
what’s right.

We salute them for their neutrality despite criticism from
commentators, fans and coaches.

We salute them for their knowledge of the rules, and the
commitment they’ve made to enforce them fairly and equitably.

We salute them for their hustle.

We salute them for the significant contribution they’re
making to the high school sports community.

We salute them—and thank them—for always practicing
good sportsmanship.

Without the IHSAA’s nearly 8,000 hard-working,
certified contest officials, there would be no high school
sports in Indiana.

Referees, umpires, judges all, we salute you!
