The IHSAA sanctions 21 high school
sports—10 for boys, 10 for girls and one
Unified Track and Field event for both boys
and girls. Now in its fourth year, the IHSAA
Unified Track and Field meet fielded 85
school teams in 2016-17, and that number
continues to grow every year.
