Making a Difference
A Tribute to IHSAA Coaches
They instruct and motivate.
They work evenings and weekends.
They teach life lessons, not just x’s and o’s.
They are grinders, sticklers, taskmasters.
They do not use humiliation or embarrassment
as teaching tools.
They are role models who walk the talk—especially when it
comes to issues related to character and sportsmanship.
They are mentors, educators, would-be parents,
counselors, friends.
They are the face of their community.
They are perfectionists.
They care.
They are Indiana high school coaches, making a difference
for thousands of Hoosier teenagers every year.
