Former NBA player, teacher, coach
and athletic director, Dick Atha, walks

medal as an honorary member of the
Benton Central Lady Bison, immediately
following their 3A state finals appearance
at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Atha is a
long-time supporter of Benton Central
athletics and has become an iconic
member of the community. It’s fan culture
like this that makes Indiana high school
sports truly special.
