the inaugural IHSAA Ray Crowe Excellence in Leadership
Award to the family of Ray Crowe and the legendary
1956 Crispus Attucks basketball team at the 4A Boys
Basketball State Finals. This award will be given annually,
and will recognize those individuals who carry on Coach
Crowe’s legacy by exemplifying the highest standards of
sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and moral character.
